10/16/2011 Kenrick’s 5th Birthday Party – Hunt Club Farms

Sunday afternoon, Kenrick & his closest family and friends gathered at Hunt Club Farms to celebrate his 5th birthday! This themed birthday bash hosted that of his favorite superheroes: Captain America & Optimus Prime! Everything from the gifts, decorations, even Kenricks attire was based around his favorite characters! His actual birthday festivities included unlimited bounce-house fun, petting zoo, playing in the hay, and of course pizza and cake for everyone! The party couldn’t have been complete without a surprise visit from none ofther than Optimus Prime! Pretty impressive for a 5 year old! The true superheroes this afternoon, Kenrick’s parents and family for there support and putting this all together!

Cowboy boots, cowboy hats, bandanas, line dancing, bull riding; yes we’re talking about a birthday party here! Outside of the usually birthday, nightclub type setting, Felicia hit us up to do things a little differently. Well different this was! She gathered up the troops to host a birthday dinner evening combined with live music, DJ, and some bull riding! The girls surely had fun and the birthday girl even got a surprise half way through, but she said not to put it up! Just check out the photos to see how it went down.

Long time friend & over the years client, Kristal called up to have her event covered. She’s like a baby sister so when she calls, I know it’s something major. Usually it’s her birthday bash, or brother’s graduation or just to kick it for the fam, but this time it was a huge surprise. How huge? Huge as in her tummy huge! Kristal & Chevis are expecting so it was only right we covered the baby shower! Just like everything else she does, tons of friends and family came out Sunday for some good music, food, drinks and to bless the young couple with nothing but gifts and well wishes.

Once again, the gang over at Get It Rocking Ent comes together to host another banger! This occasion? Just a holiday weekend, on a beautiful 80 degree plus weather evening out in Virginia Beach @ Sake. With the music mixed by DJ Problem & DJ Phillie, the ladies were getting it in all night to the killer soundtrack! Fellas were nothing short of pleased with the amount of eye candy that came out in attendance, Get it Rockin sure does know how to bring them out, early too!!! For the second consecutive year, we were blessed with the opportunity to head down to Miami for Spring Break 2010. What is usually just a regular week off of school and work for some turns out to be a week of heading down to South Beach Miami with you’re college peers and going hard all week.

The following young men have been collaborating on how to shut it down this year in Miami for Spring Break. If you’ve been before then you already know “what happens in Miami, stays in Miami.” They all linked up and trademarked the term “I PLEAD THE FIFTH”, a series of parties all week long orchestrated by Young Kings Entertainment, T-12 Entertainment, Hittsquad Entertainment, Fly Major, Kiss Entertainment & The Circle. Better known as THE POWERHOUSE.

Soundtracks for the events were provided by DJ Era, DJ Bruckup, DJ K Threat, DJ Tay James & DJ Crisis! They all burned the roof off of every venue they touched! Shouts to the Host Uncle Luke, Travis Porter, Mack Maine, Cortez Bryant, Quentin Richardson Miami Heat, Eric Gordon LA Clippers,Conjure Cognac & all the College Spring Breakers!

Shouts to The Kappas, AKA’s & the for hosting the Pretty Pretty Nasty Party.

Second time is a charm! Pre Valentine’s day weekend boasted nothing but fun times, including good friend and long time supporter of Upinthemix, Aisha and her 20-something-ish birthday! Last year, she did up private but this year, Saturday February 12th, things changed. Following an excellent birthday dinner composed of mainly family and really close friends, we took the party all the way from Chesapeake to the beach over at Club Element. There the birthday girl along with her closest turned it up a notch! More friends, more family, more drinks; overall just more fun! Aisha would kill us if I posted “all” the pics, but it was definitely a fun night nonetheless!

Saturday night was one like no other. Birthday girl Ashley Ross CONSISTENTLY hits us up to cover her birthday parties! Her girls & family are like no other! They truly hold this girl down in no truer form or fashion. After a last minute game plan change, we headed across town over to Element Lounge where the good folks there took care of the birthday girl from the time she arrived, up until last call. Bottle & waitress service was on point to where no one in VIP at any time did not have a drink in their hand! Oh and the food, don’t let the frame fool you, Ashley went IN on them chicken wings! Don’t take out word for it, we’re here to capture the moments & that’s just what we did! Once again, another year, another great birthday party!

100 Pack of red Solo cups, shot glasses, a blender, few bags of ice, vodka, brews, tequila, cognac, margaritas; these were all present Friday night at the house party thrown by Get It Rockin Entertainment for their good pal C-Nice! Can’t really go into too much detail on the house party, but just know that these dudes know how to have a good time and bring a nice little crowd with them on a Friday night to get it in! Appreciate it guys!

11/05/2010 The Champagne Gang Presents Toast to Life Part 1: The Norva – HUHC Weekend 2010

The Champagne Gang, TCG, the young boys, whatever you want to call them , just make sure you place them up in the ranks with all the greats who’ve done HU Homecoming at the Norva. This was there time to shine and prevail and they did as such! Selling out of presale tickets in a matter of days was astonishing! Thanks to the professionalism of the Norva service, owners and staff, the 1200+ partygoers who came out to get it popping, DJ Soundwave on the set rocking the stage! Nothing much more to say here. 11/06/2010 KMK Productions & Team DropZone Presents The All Black Affair – HUHC Weekend – Tammany Lounge

Following up there 7 Cities summer affair at the Hilton in Suffolk, Team Dropzone & KMK Productions link up to deliver another banger! This time around, HU Homecoming Weekend, All black everything, KMK Productions behind the bar, DJ Total Wreck doing what he does best, Dropzone Ent’s recording artist Dixie Blaze in the building, hip hop recording artist Corte Ellis on the live performance and to top that off, multi-talented R&B singer/song writer Jill Scott! Few birthdays in the building as well, shouts to Denise on turning the big Three-O! Definitely another follow up banger to the series of events brought to you by Team Dropzone/Bellyofthebeats & the entire squad over at KMK Productions. Check out the footage!
